DMC  2003 DMC World DJ Championships

 
The 2003 DMC World Championship weekend was held at the Brixton Academy on September 13 & 14 in London, England.



The DJ Championships weekend kicked off on Saturday with the 2003 DMC Battle for World Supremacy with Canada's Supremacy Champion M-Rock placing 2nd.
M-Rock manifested dexterity throughout the battle. He first beat Belgium's DJ ND in his first round, then beat New Zealand's CXL in the Quarter Final. During the exciting Semi Finals M-Rock beat US Champ I.Emerge while the UK Champion Tigerstyle took on France's DJ PFEL. M-Rock well represented all the way to the Final round when he was defeated by Tigerstyle for the World Supremacy Champion title.

In the World DJ Team Championships also held on Saturday, Canada's Funky Teknicianz (M-Rock & Biskit) placed 3rd, with the Defending Belgium Team La Guilde placing 2nd and France's C2C placing 1st.

The 2003 DMC/Technics World DJ Championships was held on Sunday September 14th. There was no question after his outstanding technical set during the Elimination round that Canada's DJ Dopey was heading for the top. UK's DJ Quest placed 3rd and US Champ Enferno placed a strong second to Canada's DJ Dopey who won 1st place and is now the 2003 DMC Technics World Champion.
