In 1998 we held six Eliminations in Canada. The 1st and 2nd Place winners of each elimination competed at the 1998 Technics DMC Canadian Final August 29th at The Guvernment in Toronto.

Unfortunately the 1st Place winner of the Edmonton Elimination DJ Arnel was unable to attend the Final. In 1998 we did not have a defending Champion at the Canadian Final since the 1997 Canadian Champion DJ A-Trak was defending his '97 World Champion title at the World Final in October in Paris France.
